Hello,
I am Bobbi Jo. I grew up surrounded by cornfields and lakes in Southwest Michigan where old barns and country roads inspired me to draw. Art was my first love. Art has always given me a sense of peace and has strengthened my faith.

My Story
For the past 20+ years I have been an art educator and a working artist. As an art teacher, you get to do it all. We paint, use clay, draw, make messes, solve problems and celebrate happy accidents. I love it and give the students a lot of credit for my creativity.

Over the years I have built a portfolio of commissioned work, mostly paintings. Each commission provides an opportunity for me to learn and grow as an artist. I am often taken out of my comfort zone and challenged to create not just my own vision but a shared vision with someone else.
